Angela Belmont
DNP, RN, NEA-BC
Angela is a seasoned nurse executive with more than 35 years of experience leading high-performing clinical teams and transforming complex healthcare organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nurse Executive for Bassett Healthcare Network, she provides executive oversight across five hospitals, aligning nursing strategy with organizational mission, quality, and patient safety goals. Her leadership has driven system-wide innovation, including achieving Magnet designation, establishing a Network Nurse Executive Council, and advancing governance and quality initiatives at the board level. Throughout her career at organizations including Cooley Dickinson Health Care and Mohawk Valley Health System, she has consistently improved patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff engagement—elevating patient satisfaction, strengthening shared governance, and delivering measurable gains in quality metrics such as Leapfrog and CMS indicators.
A doctorally prepared leader and board-certified Nurse Executive, Dr. Belmont blends clinical expertise with strategic vision and a deeply people-centered approach. As a certified professional coach and adjunct faculty member, she is committed to developing the next generation of nurse leaders. Her career reflects a steadfast dedication to excellence in care, resilient leadership—including serving as Operations Section Chief during the COVID-19 crisis—and building cultures where teams thrive and patients receive exceptional, compassionate care.

David Bailey
Ph.D., MBA, MSN, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC, FACHE, FAONL, FAAN
Dr. Bailey is the Chief Nursing Officer at UCLA Health–Santa Monica Medical Center, a Magnet with Distinction–designated institution. In addition to this role, he serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program at the UCLA Joe C. Wen School of Nursing and as an Adjunct Professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University, where he is a highly sought-after guest lecturer on leadership in healthcare.
A trailblazer in nursing leadership, Dr. Bailey was the first practice-based leader to serve as President of the Association for Leadership Science in Nursing, an international organization dedicated to advancing leadership science, research, and education across academic and practice settings. He also serves as a board member for WISE & Healthy Aging, supporting older adults throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, and as a member of Viven Health’s Nursing Advisory Board, promoting innovative simulated learning to improve health behaviors. Additional leadership roles include serving as an inaugural member of BD’s Chief Nurse Advisory Council and as an associate editor of Nurse Leader, the official journal of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership. Most recently, he joined TNLI as a coach to support new chief nursing officers and individuals aspiring to these roles.
Dr. Bailey holds a PhD in Nursing, is certified in critical care and executive nursing, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, and the American Academy of Nursing. A prolific author and peer reviewer for multiple professional journals, his research focuses on how relational leadership practices drive positive outcomes for both patients and staff.

Nancy W. Gaden
DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN
Nancy Gaden is the Chief Nursing Officer at Boston Medical Center, a 514-bed academic medical center and the largest safety net hospital in New England. Since joining BMC in 2014, she has guided significant improvements in quality, patient experience, and employee engagement, leading the department to their first Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in December 2021. Prior to BMC, Nancy served as CNO at Hallmark Health system, where she also achieved Magnet designation, and held Chief Nursing Officer roles at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, South Shore Hospital, and Milton Hospital—consistently demonstrating her ability to elevate nursing practice and organizational performance across diverse healthcare settings.
A nationally recognized leader in nursing, Nancy has received numerous honors including the ANA Massachusetts President's Award, the Excellence in Leadership Award from the New England Organization of Nurse Leaders, the Commonwealth Institute's Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Award, and a Daisy Lifetime Achievement Award. She holds honorary doctorates from both Middlebury College and Laboure College, and in 2023 was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. As past President of the New England Organization of Nurse Leaders and a frequent speaker at national healthcare forums, Nancy is committed to advancing the nursing profession. She earned her BS in nursing from the University of Rochester, her Master's degree from Boston College, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Regis College.

Giancarlo Lyle-Edrosolo
DNP, RN, CENP, NEA-BC, FAONL, FAAN
Dr. Giancarlo Lyle-Edrosolo is the Chief Nurse Executive for Atrium Wake Forest Baptist, overseeing nursing strategy and operations across 9 hospitals and the continuum of care, and serves as an Associate Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He is recognized nationally for his leadership in advancing financial literacy and business case development among nurses at both frontline and executive levels. Through innovative educational programs, practical toolkits, and support of national fellowships, his work has contributed to significant improvements in workforce retention, quality outcomes, and strategic investments that have helped shape nursing leadership development on a national scale.
Dr. Lyle-Edrosolo's contributions have earned him several prestigious accolades, including the ANA/C Public Policy Award, the Pamela Austin Thompson Early Careerist Award, and induction as a Fellow of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (FAONL) and the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
